our story
The Farm Hand began with a common challenge many face: needing to graze livestock at specific times. We built a simple, rugged timer to automate the gate opening.
Our first gate opener transformed our daily chores, and friends encouraged us to develop this idea into the Freedom Gate.
As we did farmwork and refined our gate opener, we identified more opportunities to address farm management and rural needs. From gate openers to timed feeding devices, our products simplify chores and improve animal care.
This journey continues to guide our innovations in practical agritech solutions.

The Freedom Gate allows you to set up to three daily times for the gate to open - you just have to hook the cord back.
The electrically conductive bungie cord comes in one-, two- and three-strand versions, and can be adjusted to cover gates from two metres to five metres.
